give a car

Giveacar is a small friendly social enterprise that will collect your old car free of charge. Whatever they make from selling or scrapping it, they donate to Friendship Works. To arrange a vehicle collection at no cost to you, simply visit the website and follow the instructions, choosing Friendship Works as the charity you’d like to support. Alternatively, you can email them at support@giveacar.co.uk or call them on 020 0011 1664.

music magpie

Donate your unwanted DVD, CDs and Games to charity with Music Magpie.

Music Magpie is a recycling scheme which allows you to turn your old CDs, DVDs and Games into cash instantly. You send them in, they recycle them, and Friendship Works receives a donation of 50p for each item. It couldn’t be easier.

Contact info@friendshipworks.org.uk to request your Music Magpie collection box. Then print off the posters to advertise a time and place to collect donations. Once your box is full, send an email to let us know and we will arrange to pick it up.

ebay for charity

Sell items on eBay and donate to us.

eBay is working with Missionfish to help charities raise funds. The partnership lets sellers give proceeds from their sales to a favourite charity. Or you can give directly using the Donate Now feature, which lets anyone with PayPal donate without having to buy or sell anything. Missionfish is a trusted administrator of eBay Giving Works and is a safe and reliable way of supporting Friendship Works.

eBay and Missionfish make it easy. Simply select Friendship Works as your chosen non-profit organisation when you put an item up for auction, choose a percentage between 10-100% that you would like to donate and when the item has been sold, Missionfish will do the rest to make sure we receive the funds.

You can also hold an eBay auction in aid of Friendship Works. Just plan your event, source and list your items to sell, spread the word, wrap and ship the items, and count the money you raised.

For more information visit the Missionfish website.
