Volunteer film-makers wanted

If you’re looking to volunteer and have professional filming and editing skills, we’d like to hear from you.

We have a current volunteering opportunity for someone to work with us to develop and produce a short film featuring interviews with one of our families to use at our volunteer training weekends. The films will give new volunteers an insight into why parents refer their children for the support of a mentor, how the mentoring friendship works, and the benefits to children and families.

We’re looking for a volunteer with experience as a film-maker and editor/producer, to help develop the brief, come up with ideas for structuring content, carry out filming with the parent and family, and then edit and produce the final version.

Contact Ros Moody, Volunteer Recruitment Manager, by email at rosalind@friendshipworks.org.uk to find out more and see whether this is a project you could get involved with.
