Supporters Run to the Beat for Friendship Works

On Sunday 28 October 2012, 10 runners braved the coldest day of the year to take part in the Run to the Beat Half Marathon in aid of Friendship Works.

With music at the heart of the event, speakers were placed around the course to motivate the 18,500 runners taking part and their friends and family who offered support from the sidelines. A main stage was also set up with live music from several big names including DJ Fresh and Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates to help runners complete the 13.1 mile course.

Friendship Works would like to thank each of our fantastic supporters for their commitment to mentoring and for raising £7,800 (including Gift Aid), with donations still coming in.
