Raising a cheer for our Royal Parks runners

RPF half marathon

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon 2012 saw its biggest turn out yet in the event’s five year history.

Of the 12,500 runners, fifteen chose to run for Friendship Works. Friendship Works corporate partner London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) entered a team of runners and generously offered to match every donation raised by their donors pound for pound.

Law firm Tucker Turner Kingsley Wood (TTKW) also entered a team for a second year running. The Friendship Works team was completed by two individual supporters, Eric Chan and Trang Ho.

The Royal Parks looked particularly picturesque in the glorious autumn sunshine and the atmosphere was fantastic, with many people turning out to support friends and family. Both runners and spectators were able to enjoy a Food and Fitness Festival that took place in Hyde Park once the race was over.

Friendship Works would like to say a huge thank all of the runners who took part in the event and for all their hard work fundraising. Their efforts have certainly paid off, with the team raising an absolutely incredible £15,000 to date.

Friendship Works would also like to say a special thank you to the LSEG Charitable Foundation, for their generosity and ongoing support through the three-year partnership.
