Moving in the right direction

Seven intrepid gents from creative digital agency Special Moves took to their bikes to raise money for Friendship Works as part of the Moonriders challenge, a 100km bike ride through the night.

John, Jonic, Andy, Marlon, Gavin, Ciaran and Simon met at Alexandra Palace on the evening of Saturday 30 June to prepare for the challenge ahead.

After starting at 10.30pm they battled wind, rain and numerous flat tyres to arrive safe and sound in Brighton at 9.15am on Sunday morning.

Thanks to the ‘magnificent seven’ for all of the hard work put into training, fundraising and riding through the night.

And thanks to family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who supported them to help raise a total of £1,950 for Friendship Works.

To celebrate their achievement, the victorious team were given the chance to open the Stock Exchange for trading on Friday 10 August 2012, a special prize donated by Friendship Works Corporate Partner, the London Stock Exchange Group.
