The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) held their inaugural charity football tournament on Thursday 10 May in aid of the LSEG Foundation, which supports the Group’s charity partners.
The event featured a Euro 2012 theme and took place at the London Soccer Dome. LSEG invited clients to enter teams, with each team being picked to represent a country.
Football legends John Motson, Ray Parlour, Ricky George and Nigel Winterburn also joined in the fun, with Motty giving his predictions for the real tournament to be played in June.
Friendship Works would like to thank all the staff at LSEG and all the other companies who took part and helped raise over £10,000.
Special congratulations go to tournament winners Canaccord (representing England), who were invited to open the stock market the following morning.
