Organisation and role overview:

This is an amazing opportunity to work for England’s pioneering youth mentoring organisation as our Senior Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. Friendship Works is a charity offering mentoring support to improve the life chances of children and young people affected by multiple disadvantages such as poverty, family problems and loneliness.

You will have experience of owning financial targets, securing new business and account management. We are looking for a personable, ambitious candidate who understands both sides of the funder-charity relationship and thrives on growing their income stream. You will be joining the charity at an exciting time as we launch a new strategy to support more vulnerable children and young people.

Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • To contribute to the development of a three year grants and trusts fundraising strategy and plan
  • To be responsible for developing new business, building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities and delivering high quality applications and presentations to meet income targets
  • To manage Friendship Works’ existing grants and trust partnerships

Our culture: Friendship Works has a highly dedicated and energetic team working to provide high quality mentoring services for children. The team works collaboratively in an open, creative and supportive environment to constantly develop and improve services and achieve excellence.
