We had a wonderful evening last night at our annual gala show and dinner held this year at the Café de Paris, Piccadilly. With the generous support of our sponsors – Rutland Partners, T. Rowe Price, and British Land – the evening was a huge success.
We’re incredibly grateful to our Patron and long-term supporter Jonathan Pryce for organising the event and leading an auction, which raised over £26,000 for Friendship Works to continue supporting young people in London. There were some fantastic performances from Jonathan and also from Sheridan Smith, Michelle Dockery, Mara Carlyle, Paul Keating, and more. Guests also heard about the impact of Friendship Works as they listened to a question and answer session with one of our volunteer mentors and the young man he supports, who is now preparing to apply to medical school.
We owe the success of the evening to the generosity of our guests, stars, sponsors and, of course, to Jonathan Pryce. We could not continue to make such a big difference to children in London without their friendship and support.
From all of us at Friendship Works, we sincerely thank you.
